The St Lawrence Friends Heritage Trust is delighted to announce an exciting new event to celebrate the fabled last Night of the Proms on 14th September 2019.
This event, to be held in the Chobham Village Hall on the evening of 14th September 2019 at 7.30pm, will celebrate all nationalities and we are encouraging everyone to dress up formally (black tie evening wear) with a splash of colour of their own national flags. The Village Hall will also be dressed appropriately.
Entertainment will consist of a Pimms and Gin bar, a delightful fish and chip supper, contemporary music and the last half an hour of the Last Night of the Proms streamed onto a big screen in the Hall. Dancing, flag waving, cheering and a hearty rendition of Land of Hope and Glory are all actively encouraged. The dancing will continue after the streaming of the Last Night of the Proms.
All proceeds will go towards the St Lawrence Friends Heritage Trust, which was founded in 1995 to help restore, maintain and repair St Lawrence Church with its attached hall and St Saviour’s Church in Valley End.
Tickets, at £35 each, will be sold via our website at https://www.stlawrenceheritagetrust.org.uk/shop/ and to reserve your tickets early please email firstname.lastname@example.org who will register your interest and inform you when tickets will be available to purchase online. It is likely that demand will be high so please register early to avoid disappointment.
